The retreat centre is located on the shores of Lac La Biche , Alberta , just over a two hour drive from Edmonton. Set on 167 acres of beautifully wooded, lakefront land, Miksau offers rustic cabins, full bathrooms, hiking trails, serenity and great food.
From Edmonton follow highway 63 and 55 to Plamondon, turn right after church onto "100 Old Trail," drive 11.8 kilometers, and turn left at the Miksau sign.
From Lac La Biche drive highway 55 west for 13 kilometers, turn right on RR 4151, left at T intersection, right at RR 4151A, left at next T intersection, which is "100 Old Trail," drive 2.8 kilometers and turn right at the Miksau sign.
The driveway is 1.4 kilometers long. Follow it to the cedar cabin.
